I am always amazed that I can actually complete these tasks - I always think that they sound too difficult, but then they actually are relatively simple.

Mash-ups are a great tool for libraries. As several people have already mentioned they would be a useful tool for local studies to have maps showing places of historical interest and would also be useful for tourist information.

WEEK 9

I loved the podcasts and before this module had no real knowledge of what they were.

They could be used in the library for library tours, story time and author visits for those who can't make it to the main branch. They would equally be great for staff at remote branches to keep in touch, rather than just through e-mails and telephone calls.

All these tools that we've been introduced to have real potential for the library.

Week 7 has been a really interesting week - with loads of new information for me !! I am time poor at present, but will definitely return to this section in the future to make use of de.licio.us and library thing more. These are two great tools that I'm looking forward to exploreing more.
